#dailyroutine

My daily makeup routine is all about saving time and energy (two things I don't have early in the morning before work), while still looking fresh and awake. I commend the people who have time to fully contour, bake and highlight everyday, I wish I had it in me. LOL.

Always remember, before you start the process of putting on makeup YOU MUST prep the skin by cleansing, toning and moisturizing (these steps can be found here [Click Here]). After I'm all done prepping the skin, I apply primer. My go to primer lately is the Nivea Men Post Shaving Balm for Sensitive Skin. Technically it isn't a primer but it works just like one and it's dirt cheap! I apply a small dime sized amount all over my face (a little goes a long way). It has a tacky texture to it so it isn't a primer I would wear alone.

I then go to the eyebrows! (these steps can be found here [Click Here]).

After the brows, I apply Kat Von D lock it concealer in Deep 36, EVERYWHERE with a beauty blender. I literally use this concealer as a foundation because I hate the consistency of actual foundation. Also, using the concealer as opposed to the foundation will give you a more natural, fresh faced appearance. I set everything with a YSL compact setting powder (you can use pretty much any compact powder though) and a Morphe G7 brush (except for the nose since I still have some work to do here).

We move on to the only thing I have patience to contour everyday, my nose. I don't feel the same if I don't contour my nose. LOL. I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Palette in Medium and a Sephora brand #20 Perfecting Concealer brush and apply and blend along the sides of the bridge of my nose, slimming it only slightly and bringing it up to my brow bone. I also use my ring finger to blend it further if the brush isn't doing the trick. I then finish setting the nose with the powder once the nose contour is altogether.

It's all about the lashes now since my natural ones are only visible with a microscope. LOL. I get some help from Benefit's "They're Real" mascara. This is literally my favorite mascara in the world. It gives my lashes the right amount of length and the brush is perfect whether you want neat, straight lashes or spider lashes (all a matter of taste).

Everyone needs a little glow in their life, and my favorite glow comes in the form of Becca's "Opal" highlighter. It's just PERFECT. I apply it on the bridge of my nose, above the cheekbone and right above my lips in the cupids bow. It literally gives me life.

Now that your face is all together, you have to set it with some spray. My new best friend is Mac's Fix+ spray. I used to use the Urban Decay Oil Control setting spray for a while but there is just something about Fix+ that has me addicted. Spray it all over your face and you are literally set.

Tell me what your #dailyroutine is below!

Vic
