Beautyblender or Foundation Brush?
Ah, the question every person asks when they're diving into the beautiful world of makeup. Beautyblender or Foundation Brush? What does JeffreeStarr or DesiPerkins use? (That's normally how people make their decisions nowadays) What's easier? Let's dive into this head on.
First off, I'm a total beautyblender user. I really don't understand how people applied foundation/concealer before the existence of the beautyblender. I even apply my setting powder with a beautyblender, it's just the best tool of application in my opinion. When I began using makeup I really didn't know anything, like absolutely nothing. Luckily, I tried the beautyblender first and it was love at first sight. It makes application seamless, whether you're a pro or a beginner watching tutorials on Youtube. Brushes truly scare me because I'm scared I won't get the same amount of product on my entire face.
One day while casually surfing the net (does anyone say "surfing the net" anymore?), I caught eye on the Artis brush. If you aren't familiar with the Artis brush it's that cool brush that looks more like a toothbrush or hairbrush then a cosmetic tool. (Sounds familiar? Okay good) I thought, oh my god, that makes you look so elegant while applying your face on, and the inner beauty addict kicked in. To buy or not to buy? ... I didn't buy LOL, mostly because I'm a blogger on a budget but then came in an amazing care package from Kat Von D which included a concealer and foundation brush. (Thanks Kat Von D!!!) I still haven't used it and it's most likely due to fear but tomorrow I'm going to man up, and finally try a brush. (Cringing as we speak) I'll let you guys know how everything turns out!
As of now, I'm #teambeautyblender.
