Cover FX Blurring Primer & Mattifying Spray
So I've been using Cover FX products a lot lately and was super excited when I received a package from them two days ago containing their blurring primer and mattifying spray (along with a couple of other goodies). I was a little skeptical with both products at first, as I'm not crazy about primers or mattifying products but decided to try them out regardless and I have three words for them... AH-MA-ZING.
So I have to admit, I am not a fan of primers and usually prep the skin for makeup with a mist/setting spray but I thought I would give the Blurring Primer a shot and was extremely satisfied with the results! It instantly blurs and smoothens the skin while feeling lightweight. My facial hair was growing a bit and it glided right over creating the perfect canvas for my foundation. (I was very impressed with how easy it was to apply and blend foundation on top of facial hair with this primer on)
Although I did love the primer I will probably continue to do my makeup routine without a primer, though this will probably be my go to whenever I have texture or when I have facial hair and don't feel like shaving!
And now fo the real star of the show, the Mattifying Spray is going to be my new obsession for this summer. I know I mentioned Cover FX's illuminating spray a couple of posts back as my favorite setting spray but this one definitely holds its own. I always prefer my skin dewy and glowy so I stay away from any matte products but this spray really does give you the right amount of matte where you need it, while not sacrificing the glow that everyone wants! I was extremely impressed and definitely think this might be a better option for me than the illuminating spray during the extreme heat of summer in LA.
I used both products for my latest look on Instagram and was super impressed with how it made my makeup photograph! (See image below)
Overall, I am super, super impressed with both products and urge you guys to try it out for yourselves! Tell me what your favorite primer and setting spray is in the comments down below.
